Quiche with chicken, mushrooms and Dorblu cheese: a great option for a delicious dinner

A quiche is a French open pie, the base of which is made of shortcrust pastry and the filling is filled with an egg mixture. In recent years, this type of pastry has gained considerable popularity in Ukraine.

A food blogger with the nickname gordynovskaya posted a recipe for quiche with a rather interesting filling on Instagram. The chef used chicken, mushrooms, and Dorblu cheese. She also provided a detailed description of the cooking process.

Ingredients for the base

  • Flour - 250 gr
  • Butter - 125 gr
  • Egg - 1 pc
  • Salt - a pinch

Ingredients for the filling

  • Chicken fillet - ½ pc
  • Mushrooms - 6-7 pcs
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Dorblu cheese - 1 triangle
  • Salt
  • Spices

Ingredients for the filling

  • Cream 33% - 150 ml
  • Eggs - 2 pcs
  • Salt - a pinch

The way of preparation

1.Prepare the base. Sift the flour and add the very cold butter cut into cubes.

2. Rub into crumbs.

3. Add the egg and quickly knead the dough.

4. Form a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

5. Prepare the filling. Finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown.

6. Add the chopped mushrooms and continue frying.

7. Add the diced chicken, salt and pepper. Fry it.

8. Cook until the excess liquid evaporates.

9. Prepare the filling. Mix eggs, cream and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.

10. Form the dough into a base in a baking dish.

11. Pierce the dough with a fork in several places.

12. Cover the top with parchment and add any cereal to maintain the shape.

13. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

14. Put the filling on the finished base, spread the diced Dorblu cheese on top.

15. Pour the filling.

16. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees.

17. Let it cool completely and serve.
