One of the British companies that sells travel services conducted its analysis. According to the Express, its experts analyzed the content of the TikTok platform to find out which Italian cities are most often mentioned by its users. And they compiled the top ten most beautiful cities in the country. Spoiler alert: the capital did not win this rating.

10. Verona

Verona closes the list in tenth place. There are 226 thousand posts about it on TikTok. This romantic city is famous for its Verona Arena, Juliet's house, and the lively Piazza delle Erbe.

9. Bologna

Bologna is a paradise for lovers of delicious food. We managed to find 314,000 posts about it and it became the ninth most popular. Tiktokers often take pictures of the charming Little Venice, the iconic Due Torri and the historic Piazza Maggiore.

8. Florence

Eighth place goes to Florence, with 417 thousand posts. Popular videos showcase the Florence Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio, and the intricate Neptune Fountain. No one can remain indifferent to the history and art presented in Florence.

7. Venice

Venice is called the most romantic city in Italy. It has collected 462,000 posts. The unique canals and architecture of this city are immortalized in videos. The Libreria Acqua Alta bookstore, Campanile, and the magnificent St. Mark's Cathedral are often featured in the video.

6. Catania

Catania ranks sixth with 613,000 posts about it. Tiktokers talk about such sights as Catania Cathedral, the ancient Roman Catania Theater, and the lively fish market.

5. Bari

Bari is in fifth place with 688,800 posts. Travelers love to share the beauty of Bari's old town of Vecchia, the historic Basilica of San Nicola, and the traditional Strada delle Orecchiette street where you can taste homemade pasta.

4. Palermo

Palermo is fourth on the list, having collected 901,600 posts on TikTok. The charm of the Sicilian city is often demonstrated by the views of the Fountain of Pretoria, the stunning Quattro Canti, and the royal Palazzo Normani.

3. Rome

The iconic Italian capital took only third place. There were 974,000 posts about Rome on TikTok. The ancient history of this city comes to life in viral videos from the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and, of course, the impressive Colosseum.

2. Milan

Milan is in second place, with 2 million hashtags. This fashion capital is famous for its stunning architecture: Milan Cathedral, the upscale Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel II, and the Leonardo da Vinci monument are popular focal points in many TikTok posts.

1. Naples

Naples topped the ranking. Its beauty was honored with an incredible 4 million hashtags. Popular videos on TikTok highlight the city's rich history and dynamic culture. Users brag about shopping in the Chiaia district, demonstrate the large Piazza del Plebiscito and the grandeur of the Royal Palace in Naples.
