Juicy and ripe peppers are delicious when stuffed. Meat is a great choice for this. You can choose any kind of stuffing, the main thing is to add vegetable frying for juiciness.

The idea of cooking a hearty stuffed pepper was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yana with the nickname yanni.cooking. The meat should be mixed with rice to make it more satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • bell pepper - 3 pcs.
  • chicken or veal minced meat - 500-550 g
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • rice - 100 g
  • fat sour cream or cream - 3-4 tbsp.
  • spices: salt, pepper, herbs

Method of preparation:

1. First, cut the peppers in half and carefully peel out the seeds, leaving the tails on - it's not only beautiful, but also convenient for serving.

2. Lightly salt and pepper each half.

3. Brush with vegetable oil and put in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.

4. For the filling, rinse the rice, boil it for 5 minutes until half cooked, and then let it brew for a while under the lid.

5. At this time, fry the onions, carrots and garlic until golden brown.

6. Mix the minced meat with vegetables, add rice, egg, sour cream (or cream) and spices.

7. Remove the peppers from the oven and let them cool slightly.

8. Then fill them with the prepared mixture.

9. Put the stuffed peppers in a baking dish, cover with water (so that it does not reach half of the peppers) and cover with foil. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

10. Remove the foil and let the peppers brown for another 15-20 minutes without it to get a golden crust and the most intense flavor.
