"It will not be easy, especially..." Bosnia coach names advantage over Ukraine in Euro 2024 playoffs

The head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Savo Miloshevych, is looking forward to a tough match against Ukraine in the semifinals of the playoffs for the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship. The Dragons coach noted that his team will face a high-class opponent.

Milosevic said this in an interview with the official website of the Football Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NFSBiH). The former Celta, Zaragoza and Osasuna forward added that his team will have a huge advantage in the home field factor in the match on March 21.

"The playoffs will not be easy, especially since our first opponent is a very good Ukraine. It is good that we are playing at home, I hope we will play two games here. This kind of playoffs is difficult, and anything is possible in one game. I believe we can succeed and qualify for the European Championship. We are all focused on this task. We have an idea of what we plan to do tactically, and I believe we will be ready for the playoffs," Miloshevych said.

Earlier, European Football Union (UEFA) President Alexander Cheferin caused a stir in Bosnia after calling Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In addition, Ukraine's national team received a "lucky decision " regarding the Euro 2024 playoff match.
