Crackers are a versatile product. You can eat them on their own, add them to first courses or salads, or use them as a decoration. You can buy them in a store or make them yourself. Of course, the latter option will be the most delicious.
Food blogger gordynovskaya shared on Instagram how to make perfect croutons at home. It turns out that they can even be made from stale bread.
Ingredients:
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Paprika
- Oregano
- Pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the bread into cubes.
2. Put them on a baking sheet and dry them in the oven for 5 minutes at 170°C to make them a little harder.
3. Take the dried bread out of the oven and place it in a large bowl.
4. Mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl.
5. Pour over the prepared dressing and mix well.
6. To make sure that the flavor is absorbed into each piece, stir the breadcrumbs in the bowl with the remaining sauce.
7. Put the breadcrumbs back on the baking sheet and spread them evenly.
8. Bake for 15 minutes at 170°C.
9. Check from time to time to make sure they don't burn.
10. Store in an airtight container.
