On September 18, a shooting occurred in central Moscow near the headquarters of the Russian marketplace Wildberries in the "Romanov Dvor" business center, located near the Kremlin. Two people were killed, and two to seven others were wounded.

The head of the company, Tatyana Bakalchuk (who Forbes calls the richest woman in Russia), complained about an attempted raider seizure by her husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk. Wildberries is Russia's largest online retailer, which is under sanctions from Ukraine and Poland for indirectly supporting the Kremlin's aggression.

At first, propaganda sources reported one dead person. Soon it became known that one of the hospitalized had died.

The media spread a version that the victims were security officers. According to unofficial reports, 28-year-old Islam-Bek Elmurziev and 41-year-old Adam Almazov were killed. Both were allegedly radical Islamists.

"Today, a group of people led by Vladislav Bakalchuk, Sergei Anufriev, and Vladimir Bakin tried to seize Wildberries offices in Moscow," the company's founder complained.

About 30 people were taken to the police. For his part, Bakalchuk, the husband of the Wildberries CEO, claims that he arrived at Romanov Lane with his colleagues and "was attacked by security guards and unknown people who provoked an armed conflict."

According to Bakalchuk, he came "to meet with the management" to discuss the construction of new warehouses.

By the way, dictator Vladimir Putin was not in the Kremlin at the time of the shooting in central Moscow – he was at the Tauride Palace in St. Petersburg, where the Eurasian Women's Forum was taking place.
