Despite the fact that the country is only about 30 kilometers long, Andorra impresses with its natural wealth - about 9% of the territory is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site - as well as its historical heritage and diversity of activities. The place combines French, Catalan, and Spanish cultures, which are reflected in all aspects of local life - from architecture to cooking.
The country can be explored in two days, so this place is ideal for those who want to quickly immerse themselves in mountain adventures and avoid the crowds of tourists.
Andorra is often referred to as the "country in the sky" due to its average altitude of about 1996 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest countries in Europe.
The highest point of Andorra is the mountain Coma Pedrosa, which reaches 2942 meters in height. There are many scenic trails and routes to explore, so it is an ideal destination for hikers and mountain trekkers.
In winter, Andorra turns into a real paradise for winter sports enthusiasts, particularly skiing. And for those who prefer the warmer months, there is no shortage of activities in Andorra either.
Summer temperatures fluctuating around 20 degrees make it an attractive destination for hiking and climbing. You can enjoy the beautiful views of mountain lakes, climb to the tops or just enjoy the fresh mountain air.
