The inexpensive Volkswagen Beetle used to be a real bestseller. Later, the car was turned into an image model, and today many people have forgotten about it.  Recently the car was shown in a different form online.

A few years ago, this unusual retro car was all the rage. The model was moderately popular due to its design and the inexpensive components of other VW models used in its construction. The TALK WHEELS channel showed the new Volkswagen Beetle. The author noted that the car (unexpectedly) could have a hybrid powertrain.

This is an amateur work that has nothing to do with VW. The result is interesting, but we already know that this car will not go on sale.

The chances of the model's return are not yet visible. When sales fell under the pressure of crossovers, the German company decided to stop production. Thus, the VW Beetle left dealer showrooms and managed to survive in two modern generations. Each of them showed design references to the original Beetle of the mid-twentieth century.

The manufacturer's immediate plans for the future of the legendary model are unknown. Most likely, they do not exist at all. Once, the option of turning the Beetle into a crossover and then into an electric car was considered. However, none of these options came close to realisation. The company has not mentioned this name for a long time.
