Our compatriot won a great victory
Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) knocked out Australian George Kambosos (21-3, 10 KOs) and won the vacant world title according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF). The fight ended in an early victory for the 36-year-old native of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
The denouement came at the end of the fight. The Ukrainian fighter was more accurate, hitting the Australian right in the liver in the middle of the 11th round. The latter feel to his knee, and the referee counted the knockdown. However, the fight did not last long. A few seconds later, Vasyl continued to throw punches to George's body, forcing the referee to stop the fight early.
