In Volyn, border guards shot down a drone used by criminals to transport tens of kilograms of drugs. Two packages containing 22.5 kg of hashish were found on the drone.
Law enforcement officers identified the persons involved in the illegal activity. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
A drug drone was destroyed on the outskirts of one of the border settlements in Volyn region. The copter with two packages of hashish was shot down by border guards and SBU officers.
Later, authorized searches were conducted at the homes of three people involved in the illegal activity. Law enforcement officers found drones and other material evidence. In addition, a drone and a narcotic drug were seized, as well as three cars used by the smugglers to carry out the illegal transaction.
All persons involved in the crime were served a notice of suspicion. In turn, the court chose a custody as a measure of restraint for them.
As a reminder, law enforcement officers shut down 5 drug labs in Kyiv region and detained the organizer and seven accomplices. During the searches, they seized "goods" worth UAH 30 million.
Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers exposed a criminal organization organized by a resident of Dnipropetrovs'k region, which was engaged in the illegal production and sale of psychotropic substances and narcotic drugs. The group had been operating for a long time, and the organizer and his accomplice involved 15 other people in its work.
