Three fats that are worth eating more for healthy weight loss have been named
The days of blaming fats as the cause of excess weight are far behind us. Now, nutritionists are convinced that high-quality fats help maintain high energy levels and saturate the body with important elements. But what fats should you eat to lose weight faster?
She Finds turned to nutritionist Katherine Gervasio for advice, and she named three foods that are high in fat and will be a useful addition to your diet, especially for those aiming at weight loss.
Olive Oil
Of all the vegetable oils, olive oil has the highest percentage of monounsaturated fats, which can lower bad cholesterol levels in the blood—almost three-quarters of them. It also contains antioxidants like oleuropein and oleocanthal, which help fight inflammation in the body, promoting quick health restoration and improved vital processes. You can use olive oil for frying, add it to salads, and incorporate it into various dishes—there are numerous options.
Avocado
Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats, beneficial for the cardiovascular system and digestion during weight loss. Additionally, they contain vitamins E, C, and A, serving as antioxidants to maintain a healthy body and potentially accelerate metabolism. However, it's essential not to overindulge, as these fruits are high in fat, and excess consumption may lead to deposits on the waistline. Therefore, one avocado a day is more than enough.
Almonds
If you enjoy snacking on nuts, consider switching to almonds. They are a source of vegetable protein and are rich in fiber, aiding digestion and providing a prolonged feeling of satiety. With unsaturated fats constituting up to 65%, almonds contribute to combating high cholesterol.
