The fantastic rematch fee of Usyk – Fury was announced

Oleksandr ChekanovNews
Fury lost to Usyk

The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 11 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will bring the boxers almost one and a half times the fee they received in the May 18 fight. The fight is scheduled for the end of this year, and the success of the first fight will help to increase the prize money.

This was reported by The Sun tabloid. According to it, 150 million pounds or $190 million will be at stake in the fight on December 21. At the same time, Usika will receive the majority of the fee after winning the first fight. Earlier, the media found out that the Ukrainian would get 60% of the prize money.

As a reminder, on May 18, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision. The International Boxing Federation (IBF) decided to deprive the Ukrainian of his belt.

Initially, it was planned that Usyk would be stripped of his IBF title, but three reasons were given for why it was beneficial for promoters and organizations to keep all the belts for the Ukrainian.

Earlier, former world champion Carl Froch named the main culprit behind Tyson's defeat of Alexander. He also expressed confidence that Usyk should end his career.

Former boxer David Haye predicted that there will be no rematch between the Ukrainian and Fury. His compatriot Dereck Chisora started rumors that Oleksandr would return to the heavyweight division.
