Pear pie with spices: beautiful and original autumn pastries for tea

Ingredients for pears in wine
- Pears - 10-11 pieces
- Red still wine - 750 ml
- Sugar - 100 gr
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
- Badian
- Cardamom
Ingredients for the sponge cake
- Soft butter - 200 gr
- Powdered sugar - 200 gr
- Eggs - 4 pcs
- Flour - 250 gr
- Baking powder - 8 g
The method of preparation
1. Peel the pears, leaving the tail.
2. Put the pears in a saucepan with the tails up and sprinkle with sugar and add wine and spices.
3. Cook over medium heat for 25-30 minutes.
4. Take the pears out of the pan and cook the wine cheese for another 15 minutes.
5. Prepare the sponge cake. Whip the butter with a whisk until it becomes lipstick.
6. Add the powdered sugar and mix.
7. Add the eggs. Mix well.
8. Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the egg mixture. Mix well.
9. Grease a 26 cm diameter baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour.
10. Put the dough into the mold and flatten it.
11. Put the pears on the dough, twisting them a little.
12. Wrap the pear tails in foil.
13. Bake at 165 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
14. Take the cake out of the oven, release the tails from the foil.
15. Soak the cake with hot wine syrup.
