Korean carrots with hot marinade: the taste of the appetizer will be much better than usual
Korean carrots are a spicy appetizer that will be a great addition to any meat and fish. The vegetable is usually simply spiced and then the necessary marinade ingredients are added, cold. But it will be much tastier if you combine and heat it all up.
The idea of cooking delicious Korean carrots with hot marinade was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria with the nickname valeria pytel. You can eat it in 6 hours, but it is better to leave it overnight.
Ingredients:
- carrots - 1 kg.
- garlic - 4 cloves
- sugar - 3 tbsp
- salt - 1 tbsp
- coriander - 1 tbsp.
- paprika - 1 tbsp
- red pepper - 0.5 tbsp
- oil - 5 tbsp
- vinegar 9% - 4 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the carrots on a special grater.
2. For the marinade, combine the spices, salt, and sugar, and add the oil and vinegar.
3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and turn off.
5. Squeeze the garlic into the carrots and pour the marinade over them, mix everything.
6. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
