The DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on the deployment of troops to Russia, evasively stated that it "does not deal with the affairs of the Ministry of National Defense" and does not consider it necessary to confirm them. However, if the facts reported by the media are true, they allegedly "comply with international law."

Kim Jong Gyu, the DPRK's deputy foreign minister in charge of Russian affairs, made the statement. On October 25, he answered questions from KCNA.

He said he was "listening to rumors" about his country's troops being sent to Russia. He said that the world's media are "inflating public opinion."

"The DPRK Foreign Ministry is not directly involved in the affairs of the Ministry of National Defense and does not consider it necessary to confirm them. If there is something that the world media is talking about, I think it will be an act that complies with international law," Kim Jong Gyu assured.

At the same time, he admitted that "there will be forces" that will want to describe these facts as illegal activities.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine recently released an interception of the invaders' conversation. It says that the Russians are preparing to receive soldiers from the DPRK in the Kursk region. It is planned that three Russian soldiers and an interpreter will be assigned to every 30 foreign soldiers.
