Simple life hacks in applying makeup have an instant lifting effect. The Sun has revealed how to give your face a lifted look.

Makeup artist Victoria Lin shared a quick and easy makeup trick that will give your face a perfect look in minutes.

If you are quite conservative with your makeup and want to add accents without going for bright colors, or if you feel like your eyes look a bit sunken and tired, this is an effective tip to try.

You'll need a cool-colored bronzer, concealer, and a contouring brush.

The line should be drawn right at the end of your lash line, and it should go sharply upward. Cool shades should be preferred, as they will look almost like a natural shadow.

The makeup artist used a liquid bronzer to draw the eyelid up to the ear: "With the cream bronzer, I'll create this shadow by drawing a small line. Just follow the shape."

Next, take a light concealer and apply it on the eyelid, brow bone, and over the line to the ear.

To complete the look, you can add a matte highlighter.

Concealer, by the way, helps solve many aesthetic problems with makeup, but it has a tendency to slide off during the day.
