How to easily prepare poached eggs without a pot: a simple method

You don't need to use a pot to make incredible poached eggs. An alternative way to use one popular kitchen appliance has been shared online.

So, a TikTok user with the nickname @air.fryeruk said that she uses an air fryer to cook perfect poached eggs. In the video, she showed a beautiful egg with a liquid yolk.

To make a poached egg in an air fryer, you first need to grease the special containers with oil. In this case, the woman used round glass jars, but noted that any container of the same size would do as long as it is safe to use in the air fryer.

The second step involved filling the containers a little more than halfway with boiling water straight from the kettle.

After that, the eggs are cracked directly into the water-filled containers. At this stage, it was very important not to damage the yolk. She then moved the jars to the basket of the air fryer and chose the air fryer mode at 200C for six minutes.

When the time was up, she opened the fryer basket, drained the water, and showed off two perfectly cooked poached eggs.
