On the night of February 15, a drone hit an oil depot in the Kursk region of Russia. A large fire broke out at the site.

Residents of the region report a powerful fire near the village of Polevaya. Before that, they wrote about explosions in the air in their publics.

The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, says that there are "no preliminary casualties". According to Starovoit, the oil depot was attacked by a Ukrainian drone. "All special services are now working at the site," the Russian official added.

Eyewitnesses say that a large pile of fire trucks has gathered near the base. According to them, a 100-ton tank was on fire.

Later, Russian media reported that two diesel fuel tanks were on fire as a result of a nighttime UAV attack on an oil depot in the Kursk region. This is the oil depot of Polyova PLC in the village of Polevaya, Kursk district.

The first tank burned down 1000 cubic meters of fuel, and the second - 400 cubic meters.

This is not the first such fire in the Kursk region. For example, on January 11, a field bathhouse of Russian soldiers burned down here. Two Russian soldiers were killed and two more conscripts were injured.

And on the night of January 15, a series of flashes were seen over the Russian city of Kursk. Local residents also complained about explosions. The authorities assured people that it was the work of air defense. According to the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, there were targets in the air, they were shot down.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the morning of February 14, it became known that another Russian warship was destroyed in the Black Sea - thanks to a special operation by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Caesar Kunikov went down.

The crew of the Caesar Kunikov failed to escape. The ship tilted and then sank. This enemy vessel distinguished itself during the Russian aggression in Georgia. It was based in Sevastopol, with a board number of 158.
