Krakow welcomes about 11 million tourists every year, so many of them enjoy visiting the central Main Market Square, which is the center of the Old Town and home to the beautiful St. Mary's Basilica Cathedral.

Another cheap vacation destination is Bucharest, the capital of Romania, where a typical weekend trip costs tourists about 22 thousand hryvnias. The city offers the cheapest hotels, with tourists paying an average of 4 thousand hryvnias for each night of stay, and lunch at McDonalds usually costs 300 hryvnias per person.

Travelers who wish to see some of Romania's most notable landmarks should consider visiting the Palace of Parliament, which is the world's second largest government building, and the Stavropoleos Monastery, which has been part of the city since 1724.
