"We need to put an end to this": Kadyrov accuses Prigozhin of working against Russia and Putin

Kadyrov and Prigozhin scandalised again

While Ukrainian soldiers are eliminating Russian invaders at the front, another split is gaining momentum in Russia itself. The head of Chechnya, war criminal Ramzan Kadyrov, has once again lashed out at another war criminal, the leader of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and accused him of working against Russia and Russian dictator Putin.

The scandal erupted after Prigozhin and Kadyrov announced their intention to replace Wagner mercenaries with Akhmat militants in Bakhmut and blackmailed the Russian Ministry of Defence to give them more ammunition.

On his social media page on June 9, Kadyrov accused Prigozhin of allegedly discrediting the Russian army, the Russian General Staff, the Ministry of Defence and the Akhmat fighters with his statements. He said he had a telephone conversation with the Wagnerian leader.

"We talked like men. We came to an agreement. We promised, in particular, not to criticise or even mention either Akhmat or Wagner in our statements. As the initiator of the conversation, I was about to tell the anxious audience that the misunderstanding had been resolved, but... Prigozhin decided to beat me to the punch and announced it first, and the Wagner commanders made a series of cynical statements the very next day," Kadyrov wrote.

The criminal also did not like the "wording" used in Prigozhin's statement, especially the hint about the fate of "Yamadayev and a bunch of other people" and the fact that the PMC owner called Chechens a national minority.

Kadyrov said that the Russian Defence Ministry allegedly "always helps" units at the front.

"There are many more questions that we can raise and ask the so-called comrade-in-arms Prigozhin. For example, who supplies various foodstuffs for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defence and has a good steady income from this? We are aware of all the subtle details of this process," the head of Chechnya said.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Kadyrov announced an offensive by his personal guard in Donetsk region and other hotspots. This "event" is now being actively promoted by Russian propagandists, presenting Kadyrov's men as "fearless warriors", although they have long steadfastly refused to take part in active hostilities - they have a completely different "specialisation".
