On the occasion of Easter, soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces prepared handmade "gifts" for the Russian occupiers. They painted hand grenades in the form of Easter carvings.

This was reported by the press centre of the OK North. The centre also published some pictures of the process (to see the photos, scroll to the bottom of the page).

The photo shows soldiers in pixelated Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms painting F-1 and RGD-5 fragmentation hand grenades with gouache paint in blue-yellow and red-black colours, decorating them with Ukrainian national symbols.

"Easter is only tomorrow and our defenders are already preparing "holiday gifts" for the occupiers. This spirit of our Cossack ancestors cannot be broken by anyone," reads the caption to the photo.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL reported that on April 16, 2023, Eastern Rite Christians in Ukraine will celebrate Easter, a holiday established in honour of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Security Service of Ukraine has warned that the enemy will not stop trying to carry out provocations in the rear regions of our country during the Easter holidays. The SBU urged Ukrainians to be careful and gave a number of recommendations to prevent the holiday from becoming a tragedy.
