A Ukrainian woman rented an apartment in Oslo with a bust of Lenin and a bed with matryoshka dolls.

A Ukrainian woman named Irena found herself in an unpleasant situation during her working visit to Oslo, Norway. The woman rented an apartment in the center of the capital using the services of a well-known accommodation search platform, but once inside, she was shocked by the "pro-Russian interior" of the apartment.

Thus, the Ukrainian saw a bust of Russian leader Vladimir Lenin on the windowsill, and she was offered to sleep on a bed with the image of nesting dolls. Details and photos Irena shared in an exclusive commentary OBOZREVATEL.

On the pictures of housing, made public on the site, there were no hints that the apartment belongs to a fan of Putin. Looking closely, you can see a statuette on the windowsill behind a curtain, but to guess that it is a bust of Lenin - unrealistic. The only thing that confused the Ukrainian in the photo was the carpet, but the rest of the conditions suited her, so she agreed to rent. It should be noted that Irena traveled not by herself, but with two children.

"I checked in late at night, and what was my surprise when I made up the bed and there was a bed of matryoshkas! In the morning, after brewing coffee and opening the curtains in the living room, I saw Lenin looking at me from the windowsill in his bronze sculpture," the woman said.

The owner brazenly did not answer the messages of the shocked tenant, which seemed strange and disrespectful to the Ukrainian.

"Probably, he considered my question incorrect. But to rent housing with traditional attributes of Russia I think not only wrong, and not because I am a Ukrainian, but because it is unacceptable to promote the culture of the aggressor, which 1.5 years wages war in the center of Europe," - said Irena.

Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that the residents of Thailand are concerned about the influx of Russian emigrants in the country. Thais complain that Russians take their jobs, open illegal businesses and commit crimes. Details - in our material.
