Budanov speaks out on the topic of the Russian dictator's doubles

The head of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, has once again hinted at the existence of Russian President Vladimir Putin's lookalikes. According to him, the Kremlin dictator, who is familiar to the viewer, was last seen in public last year, around 26 June.

The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine made the statement in an interview with Radio Liberty. We would like to emphasise that Budanov refused to directly confirm or deny that the Russian leader has doubles (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

An interview with Budanov.

"Let's leave it to everyone to live in their own flight of fantasy," the Ukrainian intelligence chief said.

When asked directly whether the "original" Putin was alive, Budanov said: "I don't know what to answer you."

The journalist clarified that Budanov himself had previously said that he distinguished the Putins from each other.

"Yes. The one that was there and that everyone was used to seeing was last seen around 26 June 2022," the DIU chief said. He did not answer why this happened, saying that there could be many reasons.

As OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, on 22 August, the Kremlin dictator suddenly forgot which hand he was wearing at a meeting of the Russian Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. The curious moment was caught on video.
