Salad with liver for a light dinner: how to prepare it correctly for the dish, so that it is not bitter
Liver is a versatile product that can be the basis for cooking not only pates, but also very tasty salads, chops and cutlets. In order to ensure that the liver is not bitter, it must be properly cleaned and soaked in milk before cooking.

Cook Inna shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious roasted liver salad with fresh vegetables and dressing.
Ingredients:
- Greek yogurt - 2 tbsp.
- Garlic - 1 tooth.
- Lime juice - 1 tsp.
- Salt, pepper - to taste
- Chicken liver - 200 gr (you can substitute with fish, basturma or chicken fillet)
- Soy sauce - 1 tbsp.
- Parmesan - 30-40 gr (or any hard cheese)
- Salad mix
- Cucumbers
- Tomatoes
Method of preparation:
1. Clean the liver from foils, steep it in boiling water, you can soak it in milk, so that it is not bitter, then fry for 4-5 minutes over high heat, add the soy sauce.
2. Dressing: add lime juice and minced garlic to the yogurt and stir.
3. Chop the vegetables randomly.
4. Place salad mix on a plate, top with vegetables, fried liver, pour sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
The finished salad should be served immediately, while the liver is still hot!
