"No" to dark lipsticks and blush on the cheeks: 5 life hacks to help you look younger
The easiest way to "shed" a few years is with make-up. Although you can overdo it here, too. For example, if you use too dark a lipstick, apply foundation on unprepared skin, and make thick arrows. Read more about these mistakes here.
To properly refresh your appearance, you need to follow certain rules. We talk about them in the OBOZREVATEL article.
1. Don't forget to use a base
If you apply foundation to unprepared skin, wrinkles will become more visible, and decorative cosmetics will emphasise dry areas of the skin. To avoid this, use a radiant make-up base with a light texture. It will not only hide the signs of ageing, but also make it much easier to apply foundation.
2. Choose foundation in warm shades only
Why should you avoid cold shades? They make the skin look tired and emphasise age. While warm shades make your face look well-groomed and fresh. Apply the product in a thin layer with a damp make-up brush.
3. Apply blush to the upper part of the cheekbones
Don't use blush on the apples of your cheeks - it makes your face look fuller. If you change the technique and blend the product on the top of the cheekbones, you will get a lifting effect. Choose coral and apricot shades.
4. Use a light lipstick with a glossy texture
Moisturise your lips with a balm. Next, apply a lipstick with a creamy or glossy texture and a pink undertone (pale pink or pale coral). We advise you to avoid matte textures and bright colours. They only add age.
5. Don't forget about mascara
Painted eyelashes will help to disguise droopy eyelids. Apply mascara in one layer, and to enhance the effect, use a curler (eyelash curler) and nude eyeshadow.
