Instead of a charlotte with a lot of wheat flour, you can make this nutritious pie. It is based on juicy apples, as well as nuts and oatmeal. The dessert is not just sweet but also very healthy.

The idea of making an apple pie with oatmeal was published on the Instagram page of nutritionist Tetiana Bozhko (healthy_nk). Instead of regular wheat flour, coconut flour is used here.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 2 cups of fatty vegetable milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large apple (cut into thin slices)
  • nuts
  • cinnamon
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt
  • ghee or coconut oil or butter

Method of preparation:

1. Beat one egg.

2. Add oatmeal, coconut flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of cinnamon and vegetable milk.

3. Mix everything well.

4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.

5. Put apple slices on top.

6. Sprinkle with cinnamon again.

7. Add a little ghee oil for a nice crust.

8. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

9. Put in the oven at 160 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
