Spicy gingerbread cookies: a dessert that will be a real highlight of the holiday table
Everyone has loved gingerbread since childhood. This dessert is especially delicious on cold winter evenings when combined with hot cocoa.
But years go by, and people's recipes and tastes change. For example, a food blogger with the nickname grennysmith recently posted a gingerbread cookies recipe using new ingredients on Instagram.

Ingredients
- butter - 70 gr
- sugar - 100 g
- honey - 2 tbsp
- ground cloves - 1.5 tsp.
- ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp
- ground cardamom - 1.5 tsp
- ground ginger - 1 tbsp
- ground black pepper - ¼ tsp.
- flour - 220 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- water - 60 ml
Method of preparation.
1. Beat honey, butter and sugar.
2. Add all the spices to the mixture and mix well.
3. Add half of the flour specified in the recipe. Mix well.
4. Add water and the rest of the flour.
5. Knead the dough. It should be slightly sticky to your hands.
6. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate overnight.
7. Dust the surface with flour and roll out the dough.
8. Cut out the desired shapes.

9. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes in a preheated 190-degree oven.
10. When the cookies have cooled slightly, rub powdered sugar into them with your fingers.
