She called her colleagues monkeys. An old interview with Blake Lively amid the scandal with the director of Leave Me If You Love has gone viral online

The network recalled Blake Lively's unsuccessful interview in 2008

The scandal surrounding the new drama "It Ends With Us" starring Blake Lively continues unabated. The actress, who is accused of "feuding" with her co-star Justin Baldoni, who also directed the film adaptation, made the audience talk about her again.

In particular, in an old interview, Blake Lively called her "Gossip Girl: co-stars monkeys. A fragment from the 2008 video went viral on TikTok, where the celebrity takes part in a panel discussion.

Lively made a barbed remark while revealing the "promises" that the creators of "Gossip Girl" made to her to agree to play the role of Serena Van Der Woodsen in the teen drama, the Daily Mail reports. "Another promise was no pet monkey," she said.

Lively was referring to the character Chuck Bass, who has a monkey in the books. "Chuck has a pet monkey that can coordinate his movements. And I thought: 'I would love to be part of the show, but I can't play with a monkey,'" Lively recalls with a laugh.

She then turned and quickly gestured to her co-stars: "Well, I've got a few of those." The remark sparked instant laughter in the room, but Blake insisted she was "just kidding." "Gossip Girl" stars Chase Crawford and Penn Badgley did not appreciate the actress' line and instead looked at the floor. "Come on, it was a joke! God have mercy!" exclaimed Lively.

"It's probably not a good idea to call your colleagues monkeys," wrote one TikTok user. Fans in the comments called the celebrity's joke "rude" and considered it further evidence that she was allegedly behaving inappropriately.
