Ruslana rocks at a reception with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak

On May 10, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak hosted a reception at his official residence at 10 Downing Street in London on the occasion of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which is being held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine. Among other things, the Ukrainian singer Ruslana, who won the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, visited the residence.

Sunak shared photos from the event on his personal Facebook page. As you can see from the photos, the Prime Minister's residence was decorated with disco balls, shimmering golden photo zones, and Ukrainian and British flags.

Commenting on the post, Rishi Sunak left touching words for Ukraine and called President Volodymyr Zelenskyy his friend.

"Liverpool is proud to be hosting Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine. Tonight we celebrated how powerful this contest is in uniting us through music. As my friend Volodymyr Zelenskyy says, one day this contest will be held in a victorious, free Ukraine," the British Prime Minister signed the footage.

In the photo, Rishi Sunak is smiling broadly as she poses with the incendiary Ruslana, who probably performed her winning hit "Wild Dances" for the guests of the reception.
