Louis in a skirt. Princess Josephine, 13, stole all the attention at the ceremony of proclaiming Frederick X King of Denmark

Princess Josephine became the star of the ceremony of proclaiming Frederick X King of Denmark

On January 14, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark officially abdicated after her 52-year reign, and her son Frederik X became the country's new king. Thousands of people gathered at the Christiansborg Palace to greet the new sovereign, but it was not so much Frederik X who managed to draw all the attention to himself as his 13-year-old daughter, Princess Josephine.

Body language experts have already nicknamed the girl the Danish "version of Prince Louis." As you know, the son of Kate Middleton and Prince William always becomes the star of such events due to his funny and sometimes daring behavior. Meanwhile, Josephine, although she behaved with restraint, did not always control her own facial expressions and emotions, the Daily Mail writes.

The published photos show a teenage girl waving to the public from the palace balcony without much enthusiasm. Her face seemed to show a certain indifference, which was probably a reaction to serious changes in her life. Now the 13-year-old princess will receive much more public attention than before, because she is the daughter of the king.

Body language expert Adrianne Carter noted that Josephine "stole the attention" of the public with her sweet audacity.

"Her brother touches her gently to remind her that she must control her behavior," the expert said, referring to the girl's twin brother, Prince Vincent.

Josephine was a bit shy at first and even hid behind her mother. The newly minted Queen Consort Mary quickly reassured her daughter by putting her arms around her waist.

In general, Josephine had a calm appearance, which charmed the audience. And when she smiled sincerely, everyone around her melted.

As you know, the King and Queen of Denmark have four children: Prince Christian, 18, who is now the first in the list of heirs to the Danish throne, Princess Isabella, 16, and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, who celebrated their 13th birthday on January 8.

They live away from the glare of publicity, attend public schools, and stay close to their maternal Australian side of the family, including their grandfather, math professor John Donaldson. Incidentally, the children seem to like to poke fun at their mother's Australian accent, describing her Danish pronunciation as "funny" in a movie made in honor of her 50th birthday in 2022.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about the new King of Denmark Frederik X. In his youth, he was considered a playboy, and not so long ago he was accused of cheating on his wife with a Mexican socialite and model.
