Incredible stories of Mrs. World 2023 participants

The Mrs. World 2023 pageant was held in Las Vegas, USA, where 38 participants from different countries competed for the coveted crown. The prestigious title was won by Julia Caroline, a German representative with a doctorate in medicine who uses unique therapeutic approaches for children and veterans. However, some of the participante who did not win were definitely remembered by the audience for their impressive stories.

Among the participants were, in particular, a mother of eight who gave birth to her eighth child a week before the competition, a woman who lost 68 kilograms, and many other beauties whose stories really do not leave you indifferent. OBOZ.UA will tell some of them.

Mrs. America Hannah Ballerina

Throughout the entire preparation for Mrs. World, the American woman carried her eighth child under her heart! The mother of many children gave birth 8 days before the start of the contest. She not only competed on a level playing field with all the other contestants but also demonstrated remarkable physical fitness, which shocked the audience. At the time of the pageant finale, Hannah's newborn daughter was only 12 days old, and she was with her mother almost all the time, even when she was having her hair and makeup done.

Mrs. America Regina Stock

Another U.S. representative who won the main crown in her state, learned about a 14-centimeter kidney tumor shortly before the competition. After successfully fighting a rare type of cancer, the woman not only survived but became a real warrior. Having won this battle 2 months ago, Regina Stock decided to take part in Mrs. World in order not only to represent her country with dignity but also to raise public awareness of oncology and kidney cancer in particular.

For many women with cancer, Regina has become an example of strength of spirit. She said that her main mission at the pageant and in life in general is to inspire and motivate people not to give up even when it seems that death itself has knocked on your door.

Mrs. Jamaica Shoshana DeAnn

This year's Mrs. World included another woman who faced a terrible disease: Shoshana DeAnn from Jamaica. The doctor has scars from a fierce battle with breast cancer. The beauty was diagnosed at the age of 36. She underwent a 2-year surgical odyssey with bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Constant complications led to 4 surgeries, and now she is undergoing a 5-year course of antihormonal treatment for hormone-positive cancer. To keep her hope for motherhood alive, IVF became a poignant chapter in her story. Despite the setbacks, including a recent miscarriage, she is not giving up.

Inspired by her own experience, Shoshana advocates for breast cancer awareness, and has even started her own charity. Mrs. Jamaica financially helps other women who need more than a mammogram for their screenings.

Mrs. Cuba Jennifer Stanga

A Cuban woman has become one of the symbols of motivation and strength of spirit in this year's contest. The woman decided to change her life once and for all by getting rid of unwanted pounds, and she succeeded. At the beginning of her transformational journey, Jennifer Stanga weighed 144 kilograms. She felt heavy all the time, and once, flying back from her cousin's funeral, she had to buy two seats on the plane. It was then that the beauty realized she wanted to change something about herself. In addition, Jennifer felt that she finally wanted to become a healthy and happy mom.

Proper nutrition, regular workouts, and the help of qualified doctors, including psychologists who helped her delve into the psychological roots of her overeating, did the trick. Stanga said goodbye to 68 kilograms, and now she weights 76 kg.

The story of Mrs. Cuba resonates with many, encouraging millions of women to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Jennifer Stanga, a beacon of transformation and self-love, proves that change is possible when a person dares to believe.

Mrs. Ukraine Olena Yelizarova

Ukraine's representative at the competition cannot be ignored either. Olena Yelizarova is a businesswoman, mother of many children and wife of a National Guard officer.
