Laima Vaikule addressed Russians and opened their eyes to the future of the Russian Federation: Putinists scolded her

Laima Vaikule addressed the Russians and opened their eyes to the future of the Russian Federation

Latvian singer Laima Vaikule, who built her career in Russia but condemned the war and supported Ukrainians, once again tried to "reach out" to Russians. She told them what awaits them in the future if the Russian terrorist invasion continues. But her attempts were again in vain - she was scolded by Putinists.

The singer first of all drew attention to the fact that Russians are under pressure from the government, which does not care about its reputation and lies. In an interview with Dozhd, she shared her own Russophobic opinion, but it was not shared by the Putinists.

"You are under pressure, I understand, but everyone has a reputation. Have you ever seen me lie in your life? Have I ever wished bad things on anyone? I want to tell you that what is happening now is not normal, you cannot believe that the attack on Ukraine is because of NATO or because otherwise Ukrainians would have attacked you. This is not true," said Laima Vaikule.

She believes that in the future, Russians will become callous, and everyone will have to deal with the consequences of the war, even those who do not support dictator Vladimir Putin.

"Believe me, don't lose empathy, don't become callous, don't think that any fight can end with just one person getting hurt, usually both people suffer. But understand that war is bad, so let's work on love, let's work on ourselves and let's not lose this empathy for each other," the artist called.

Putinists are having a hysterical fit in Russian publics. As usual, they cursed and sent the artist away because her opinion did not coincide with the propaganda.

  • "Who is she that I should listen to? She's an average singer with an accent, and she thinks she's a scrap, apparently."
  • "Go away, you cunt. You seem to empathize with only one side."
  • "Jesus, get the fuck away from us... I'm sick of your appeals. Live your own life."
  • "Let's not work on love with you!"

In particular, she added that Russians will not be able to be "not at war" and focus only on personal problems. Therefore, even those who "did not vote for Putin" will feel the consequences of a full-scale Russian invasion.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Laima Vaikule unexpectedly sang in Ukrainian. She openly supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and tries to avoid Russian in her performances, translating her tracks mostly into Latvian.
