Bowles told People that his children have a special nickname for their grandmother's husband. Lola, 16, and Freddie, 14, as well as the three children of his sister Laura Lopes, call Camilla "Gaga" (from the word grandmother "Grandma"), and Charles "Uppa" (from the word grandfather "Grandpa").

"All of our kids, and my sister's kids as well, have grown up with Gaga and Appa. They know that Gaga is a great-grandmother who spoils them in a good way from time to time," says Tom. "They adore her. My daughter and niece are now at the age where they call and text her and are very happy when they do things together."

He also adds that the Queen's heirs feel no less affection for Charles. "He is such a good, sweet man. He was also a great stepfather, he has his own grandchildren. The children just adore him. From an early age, he read them fairy tales and rocked them in his arms," Bowles recalls.
