Former member of the "Alibi" duo Hanna Zavalska spoke about the threats made by Kyiv-born Oleksandr Tsekalo, who had long worked in Russia. According to the singer, the host tried to cooperate with the band, in particular, he offered to use a song by the Zavalsky sisters in his movie.

As the artist noted in an interview with Alina Dorotiuk, having "fallen in love" with "Alibi," the ex-husband of the traitor Lolita Miliavska wanted to produce the duo. At the time, their father, Oleksandr Zavalskyi, was producing the stars. "We talked, were friends, met on some projects. He invited us to the 'Song of the Year,' and he hosted it with Ivan Urhant. He was so passionate about us one day," the singer says, "That is, he included this producer, and this is even though my father very correctly allowed this communication.

Once Tsekalo offered to use the song "Alibi" in his new Russian movie. Moreover, the showman wanted other artists to perform the song. "He was working on a TV series called 'Silver Lily,' something like that. And then we released the song "Confession," which was in Russian, and later we translated it into Ukrainian. And he offered to use this track as a soundtrack for his movie. My sister and I were uneasy about this. We asked: who will sing? "Well, not you, we'll just take the song." And for some reason, we had this internal decision that this shouldn't happen, there was an internal rebellion," Zavalska recalls.

Then the celebrity dad set his own condition for Tsekalo: that the track should be performed by Ukrainian singers. Otherwise, the producer would not allow the song to be played in the series. The host did not like such actions on the part of the band. According to the artist, "it made him furious and aggressive." "It was such an emotion: "Do you even realize who you're refusing?" After that, our relationship broke off, and he said: "I will do everything to keep you out of Russia." We said: "Well, great." And he said: "What else can you do, tour all three cities of Ukraine?" We were very outraged at the time. We realized that no one would talk to us like that, and no one would tell us what to do," the singer said.
