How would the song "Hallelujah" sound like performed by Frank Sinatra, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain and other legendary celebrities? Video

AI generated a cover of the song "Hallelujah"

A cover of the iconic song "Hallelujah", which many people discovered thanks to the Shrek franchise, is gaining popularity online. The song was written by Canadian singer and poet Leonardo Cohen, but it has been covered by many talented singers and amateur vocalists.

Modern technology has given people the opportunity to listen to their favorite tunes performed by stars who may not even be alive anymore. For instance, artificial intelligence (AI) created a cover of the song "Hallelujah" performed by Frank Sinatra, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, and other stars. The video went viral on TikTok (scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the video).

Based on all available online recordings of songs, interviews, conversational videos, and other audio materials, AI generated a sound as close to the stars' voices as possible.

The artists who were forced to participate in the cover were world-famous. Among them: Frank Sinatra, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, Adele, Chester Bennington, David Bowie, and Paul McCartney.

Each of the vocalists, most of whom are no longer alive, "sang" a few lines from Hallelujah in their own voices.

It seems as if the iconic celebrities got together to breathe a new sound into the composition. Although the motive of the song remained the same as always, the vocals of each singer added a "zest" to it. It's hard to distinguish the AI creation from real voices.

In a few days, almost 4 million people watched the video on TikTok, 361 thousand of whom liked the AI cover.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that the song "At Night" by the popular Ukrainian artist YAKTAK became the main hit on Ukrainian YouTube. The song has been on the first place in the Popular tab for two weeks since its publication.
