How to vote for Ukraine in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023: detailed instructions

The hosts will announce the start of voting

The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on Thursday, May 11, in Liverpool. Sixteen countries will compete to reach the grand final and go on to win. According to the updated rules, only viewers can vote in the semi-finals of the international song contest. The result in the final will be determined by the audience vote and the national jury's points. Ukraine will be able to take part in the voting on May 11.

OBOZREVATEL will tell you who will be able to vote in the second semi-final and how to cast their vote for a participant. Viewers from 16 countries performing in the second semi-final will be able to vote for their favourites. Among them: Denmark, Armenia, Romania, Estonia, Belgium, Cyprus, Iceland, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, San Marino, Austria, Albania, Lithuania and Australia. Ukraine, Spain and the United Kingdom will also be able to cast their votes.

Viewers will vote via the official Eurovision app for Android and iOS, as well as via SMS. The numbers to which the participant code should be sent will be shown on the screens during the live broadcast and on the website www.esc.vote. To vote from Ukraine, you need to send an SMS with the participant code to 7576. It costs UAH 7.

Below you can see the numbers for SMS voting in each of the participating countries. The last column shows the cost per message for different countries.

Please note that if your bank card is issued in a country where payment systems do not process payments for legal or other reasons, the transaction will be rejected. This means that your vote will not be counted.

The voting in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest will start after all the contestants have performed. It will last for a limited period of time - the hosts will announce the start and end of this process. Votes received earlier or later than this time will not be taken into account.

As OBOZREVATEL recently reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that he was not happy with the idea of holding Eurovision 2023 in the UK. The country's leader wanted the contest to be organised in a country that borders Ukraine.
