How the cast of Sex and the City has changed in 25 years.

HBO Max has announced the premiere date for the second season of And Just Like That. The series will return to screens on June 22. It is a sequel to the iconic "Sex and the City," which dealt with the adventures of four girlfriends: the creative Carrie, the eccentric Samantha, the conservative Charlotte and the businesslike Miranda. All of them are different in character and temperament, but united by their free views on life in the dynamic atmosphere of New York.

Let's see how the appearance of the key characters of the series has changed. More details - in the material of OBOZREVATEL.

1. Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw on the show)

This is the main character of the series. She is a fashion-influencer. Stylish, narcissistic, and witty. In the first seasons, Kerry had a column in The New York Star newspaper, where she wrote about her own and her close friends' sexual adventures. In the sequel, she became the host of a fashion podcast.

Off the set, Sarah Jessica Parker is a successful businesswoman. She created the SJP Collection brand, which produces premium shoes and accessories. The actress also promotes her own series of Sarah Jessica Parker perfumes.

2. Chris Noth (on the show, John Preston/Mr. Big)

Mr. Big is a screen character who is crazy about both the main character Kerry and millions of female viewers of the series. He walks around in gallant suits, tie-dyed shirts and shoes both in the 2000s and in the sequel. The only thing that has changed in his appearance is his graying hair and emaciated face.

After starring in "Sex and the City," actor Chris Noth had no more high-profile roles. However, he was caught in a sensational scandal, after which the HBO streaming service cut a scene with Mr. Big from the finale of "And Just So...". The reason was allegations of sexual assault and harassment against the actor. Chris himself denies everything and claims that his relationships with girls have always been consensual.

3. Christine Davis (Charlotte York on the show)

Charlotte was a classic "good girl. She has dreamed all her life of getting married, having children, and at times she despised her close friends who chose free relationships and sex. In the sequel, she seems to have remained a lover of conservative views.

Outside of filming, Kristin Davis is an active animal advocate and patron of the Wildlife Foundation. Since 2014, the actress has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency. She is unmarried and is raising two foster children on her own. Davis is not afraid of age-related changes. "Wrinkles are a natural process, I love them," she admitted in an interview.

4. Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbs on the show)

Miranda Hobbs is a lawyer, who for some time treated men with distrust and skepticism. Soon the screen heroine changed her attitude: she married and had a child.

Actress Cynthia Nixon was in a civil partnership with British Danny Moses for 15 years. In 2004, she broke off the relationship and made a fireplace exit: she admitted that she loves women. And in 2012, she celebrated her wedding to her beloved Christina Marinoni. Currently, the couple is raising a son Max, whom Chris gave birth through IVF.

5. Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones on the show)
