Ivan Dorn performed for Russians in Bali: they did not like his singing, while Ukrainians are outraged as he continues to ignore the war

Dorn entertained the Russian-speaking audience in Bali

Ukrainian singer Ivan Dorn, who had announced a performance in the Indonesian resort of Bali on New Year's Eve, did perform for Russians. Moreover, on January 3, another concert of the Ukrainian was announced in another local club with the same DJs.

As written in the comments under the artist's post, he was a guest at KLAPA Beach Club, where he disappointed the Russian-speaking audience with his singing and kept silent about the shelling of Ukraine that took place shortly before the New Year. OBOZ.UA will tell you what is known about his Bali adventures.

Announcement

A week before the New Year, Dorn announced a performance at the KLAPA club, which was to take place on January 1. The event was actively spread on Russian-language platforms, and later it turned out that the show would take place in a hotel owned by a Russian.

Posters

The club stated that the artist's performance was scheduled from 00:05 to 1:30 a.m., right after the onset of 2024. Prior to that, the singer had other musicians to open the show.

By the way, this club is not too principled when it comes to choosing performers. Already at the beginning of the year, it is scheduled to host performances by Russians Nurlan Saburov, who mocked Ukrainians, Basta, Mummy Troll, Morgenstern, and others. All of them either ignore the genocide of Ukrainians or support the Kremlin.

A poster for Dorn's January 3 concert at another club in Bali, Morabito Art Villa, is also circulating online.

New Year's Eve performance

Although the singer himself did not show a video of the concert, the audience did it for him. On December 31, a video where Dorn encourages everyone to attend his show was posted online.

Below the Ukrainian's post announcing the concert, you can see the following remark in Russian, "It was terrible! If you flew to Bali and took the money, please work for it, instead of playing unknown songs. You just ruined the New Year for all those who wanted to spend a good time."

In the profile of the user who wrote this, you can see the flags of Russia, Belarus, China, and Bali. The photo makes it obvious that he is not Chinese. The blog of a disgruntled Dorn fan also contains a video showing the singer entertaining the audience with his Russian-language hits. There were a lot of people in the audience.

But that's not all. According to commentators, the artist did not mention the war in Ukraine during the performance. "Is it normal not to say a word about the war during a concert? Is it normal to continue to jump in front of the Russians after large-scale shelling, a lot of deaths and suffering?" one of the messages reads.
