Designer of Usyk's costume declassified the mystical symbolism of the image that will help the Ukrainian defeat Fury

Designer of Usyk's costume declassified the mystical symbolism of the image

In three days, the boxing rematch between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and British Tyson Fury will take place in Saudi Arabia. The boxers have already arrived in the country for the Grand Arrivals, where the Ukrainian champion shocked the audience with his unconventional look that will help him defeat his opponent.

For the media meeting, Oleksandr Usyk wore a purple double-breasted, loose-fitting suit and a white fur cape full of symbolism. The designer of this suit, Elvira Hasanova (together with the Damirli brand), revealed on InstaStories the main meanings she put into the image of the Ukrainian boxer, which she called "Unconquered."

"Unconquered is not just a costume, but a visual manifestation of strength, individuality and symbolism. Deep purple, natural textures and the image of a wild cat are combined into a harmonious ensemble that speaks the language of style and meaning," said Hasanova.

She began her story by describing a white fur cloak with the image of a wild cat. According to her, she chose the wild cat for embroidery because it is "the embodiment of independence, agility and hidden power. It is not a predator in the traditional sense, but a symbol of freedom, elusiveness and readiness for an unexpected leap - qualities that fully reflect Usyk's style."

In particular, the cat's eyes were heterochromatic: one was blue and the other yellow, indicating the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Moreover, the location of this cape on the shoulders was also calculated in advance. According to Hasanova, the animal seems to play the role of a protector and amulet of the champion, but at the same time emphasizes his strength and confidence.

About the overall look. According to the designer, she chose the purple color of the costume for a reason. This particular tone is associated with aristocracy, power, and spirituality. "In Usyk's image, it emphasizes his confidence, charisma, and ability to stand out not only as an athlete but also as a cultural symbol. Purple exudes mysticism, creativity and determination, traits that define Usyk's character both in and out of the ring," she said.

It was with the white cape that the purple turned out to be in perfect color balance. Moreover, "white symbolizes purity, clarity of thought, and a new beginning."

"The choice of colors, textures and symbols makes this image not just fashionable, but iconic. It emphasizes Usyk's personality, his nobility of spirit and ability to remain himself even on the world stage," added Elvira Hasanova.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about how much Usyk impressed the network with his image at the "big arrival". The moment with the eccentric behavior of the boxer, who climbed into the cockpit, taking the pilot's seat, and refused to leave it, also went viral on social networks.
