Choreographer Yevhen Kot admits whether he has a military deferment and talks about his work at the university

Ukrainian choreographer and star of the show "Everybody Dance!" Yevhen Kot admitted that he has a deferment from military service because of his work at the university. He is currently doing his postgraduate studies there and has been working there since the time when teachers in higher education institutions were given reservations.

However, now this function is no longer available, but the choreographer does not give up his education. He spoke about this in the program The Incredible Truth About Stars. However, he does not disclose the university where he works.

"I've been teaching at the university for some time. Like, they booked me, then they stopped booking me. Plus, I continued my studies before the full-scale invasion. It's a master's program. Last year I graduated with a master's degree and immediately went to graduate school. I'm studying cultural studies. Now I have a deferment," said Yevhen Kot, adding that this deferment can have little effect: "If you register a deferment, you have it, if you don't register a deferment, you don't have it. And if, for example, martial law ends and there is a new one, and I don't get a new deferral, I will get a summons."

At the same time, the choreographer claims that he is not hated for not fighting. In his opinion, it is because of his charitable work and openness to the audience.

"No, they don't. Because, first of all, from the very beginning, I was involved in helping. Plus, I have always openly shown that I am here, my credentials are always updated, I have passed the preliminary medical examination, everything is done," he added.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Yevhen Kot and Natalia Tatarintseva started talking about adopting a child and getting pregnant again 5 months after the birth of their daughter. Despite the difficult process and recovery after childbirth, the young mother is confidently planning to give birth for the second time in the future.
