Princess Beatrice, the niece of King Charles III of Great Britain, is pregnant for the second time. She and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting their second child together, and their two children, 8-year-old son Wolfie (from her husband's first relationship) and 3-year-old daughter Sienna are looking forward to a brother or sister.

The day before, Buckingham Palace shared the news on social media but did not disclose the sex of the child. The statement indicated when the new member of the royal family would be born, and thus revealed the approximate gestational age of the princess.

This week, a friend said the sweetest words to me, that with each child you grow a whole new heart," Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi wrote.

It is known that the name chosen for the daughter was not accidental. Earlier, a family friend explained its meaning to Hello!

"They were looking for an Italian name that began with the letter S, in honor of the Duchess [Sarah Ferguson], and also reflected the red hair color of both the Duchess and Beatrice, which the newborn baby has," the statement read.

The public wedding ceremony of Beatrice of York to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place on July 17, 2020, at All Saints Chapel in Windsor. It first became known that the dukes were expecting a child on May 19, 2021.

At that time, the couple was already raising their son Wolfie from Mapelli Mozzi's first relationship with the architect Dara Huang.
