The Ukrainian entered the Guinness Book of Records as the owner of the world's longest hair

35-year-old artist and model Aliya Nasirova, originally from Ukraine, has entered the Guinness Book of Records as the owner of the world's longest hair. Its length is 2 m 57 cm and 33 mm. Due to her luxurious locks, the woman is called "Rapunzel".

In total, Nasirova's hair is almost a meter longer than her height, which is 1 m 65 cm. This was reported on the Guinness World Records website.

She notes that she has never cut her hair on a large scale, but only slightly trimmed the ends to maintain good condition. In particular, Aliya believes that her act can be an example for people to love their natural beauty.

"I hope my story will inspire readers to love their natural beauty. I am an artist and I believe that every person is beautiful, even if they look "different," Nasirova said.

According to her, her grandmother and mother, who both had long locks, were the driving force behind her decision to start growing her hair. In particular, the character from the Disney cartoon "Rapunzel: A Tangled Story" – Rapunzel – was perhaps the biggest inspiration.

She spends a lot of time caring for her "mane", so, according to the artist, she has to wash her hair once a week. During this weekly ritual, she has to spend about two hours applying and keeping the mask on and about a day for it to dry completely. The woman said she does not like to use a hairdryer.

"I follow a few simple rules to keep my hair healthy: I don't dye it, I use only natural products and very rarely use henna, I apply natural masks and oils to my hair, mostly I prepare them myself, I never comb my hair when it's wet and I don't use a hairdryer. I also regularly trim my split ends, eat healthy food, and don't drink alcohol. I take vitamins and massage my scalp, and sometimes I go to the sea or ocean to soak my hair in all the natural minerals," she shared her hair care secrets.
