A Russian passport, the last meeting, and "bloody rubles". Olha Sumska answered painful questions about her daughter Antonina, who lives in Russia and is silent about the war

Olga Sumska tells when she last saw Antonina Paperna and what her passport is

Famous Ukrainian actress Olha Sumska admitted that she had not seen her daughter, and part-time colleague Antonina Paperna, for more than two years. The two remained in Moscow after the full-scale invasion and starred in Russian TV series there, earning bloody rubles. This is a painful issue for Sumska. In addition to the scandal surrounding her family, the people's artist is also very worried about her grandchildren, who also remain in the terrorist country.

The star of the Ukrainian TV show Roksolana does not know whether she will be able to see her silent daughter and grandchildren in the near future. He says that they have not met on "neutral territory" and do not plan to. Sumska shared her experiences and answers to painful questions in a commentary for the YouTube channel Lux FM.

"We haven't seen each other for more than two years. I don't know how it will happen. It's not possible yet. Pain, despair – these are the feelings that reign in my heart now, fill my whole soul, it gnaws, it eats away. Because of the horrible comments that I read, I have no right to justify myself. And any words that I have to say, to prove something to someone, I have no right to say. Do you know why? Because there are grieving mothers, there are families who have lost everything. That's why our excuses, just our words, will not help. Only those people who have relatives there will understand this. And this is also a terrible tragedy," the actress commented.

Many questions also arise regarding the citizenship of Paperna, who has chosen a silent stance on the terrorist war in her homeland. Back in 2014, Sumska allegedly said in an interview that she "paid 5 million rubles" for Russian citizenship for her daughter. Now, the legend of Ukrainian cinema claims that her words were taken out of context and incorrectly "re-edited."

"I want to set the record straight. It was a scary interview, we didn't realize what was behind it at the time. That's why every word has to be weighed and controlled. No rubles... You know, there are phrases that have been taken and edited. No one paid any rubles. That is, there was a situation when people needed to get a passport at that time, and perhaps they resorted to such methods. But this is not about me or my daughter," Sumska assured.

As for Antonina's current passport, the actress assures us that it is Ukrainian. However, she says this somewhat uncertainly.

"She is a Ukrainian with a Ukrainian passport. I don't think she has a Russian passport. You know, I don't even talk to my daughter about these topics. Because it is a terrible pain. I just want to hug her. And my grandchildren. They are growing up. They should see their grandmother, and I would like to give them all of me," Sumska said.

Earlier, Sumska's nephew and Paperna's cousin, actor Vyacheslav Khostikoyev, said that his cousin was "earning bloody rubles" in Russia.

Meanwhile, Antonina Paperna was spotted with her husband, the well-known Russian actor Vladimir Yaglych, in Moscow at the presentation of new films by the Russian service Kinoposhuk. This website has been banned in Ukraine since 2017.

Earlier, Sumska said that her daughter could not return home, but the reason still remains unclear. The Ukrainian film star claimed that the traitor was "very hard" because of the war, but not enough to give up earnings in rubles and sponsorship from Russia.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Sumska suggested that her Russian son-in-law, Vladimir Yaglych, could be mobilized for the war against Ukraine. The Roksolana star tries not to talk about this "terrible" topic with Paperna.
