Misha Krupin
Misha Krupin is a Ukrainian musician, vocalist of the band Corruption.
Brief biography
Mykhailo Krupin was born on May 4, 1981 in Kharkov.
He was brought up by a single mother, who gave her son to a music school, where Misha studied violin.
Subsequently, he also studied at a music school, where he studied pop vocals and violin.
In 2001 he created the musical project "Uncle Vasya".
Subsequently wrote songs for other artists, in particular for the band NIKITA.
In 2007, he started working with producer Yuri Bardash and lived simultaneously in Kiev, Kharkiv and Moscow until 2010.
In 2019, he created the band Corruption, which brought him all-Ukrainian recognition and in 2022 was nominated for the YUNA Awards as "Best Pop Group".
Full-scale Russian Federation invasion
With the outbreak of the full-scale war, Krupin declared his pro-Ukrainian stance and refused to perform his Russian-language hits. He subsequently began singing them in Ukrainian translation.
Krupin also authored the viral songs "In Our City" about his native Kharkiv, as well as "Eb*shte", in which he expressed his attitude towards Russians.
In June 2023, together with his colleagues in the group "Cultural Paratroopers" Sasha Chemerov and Kolya Serga, he recorded an ironic composition "Belgorod", in which the residents of Belgorod region were urged not to be afraid of the AFU who were rescuing them. An animated video was created for the song with the then commander-in-chief of the AFU Valery Zaluzhny.
Krupin also often holds charity concerts in support of the AFU.

Misha Krupin was married twice. He has a son and a daughter.
