
Lesik (Oleg Turko)
Lesik (real name Oleg Mirooslavovich Turko) is a Ukrainian singer and musician, ex-participant and co-founder of the band Dzidzio, founder of the bands Forte and Dzidz'off.
Brief biographyOleg Turko was born on March 25, 1967 in Novoyavorivsk, Lviv region.
In the late 1980s he was one of the co-founders of the band "Forte". Among the group's vocalists was Andriy Kuzmenko, who later became known as Kuzma Skryabin. The band existed until the mid-1990s.
After the breakup of "Forte" Lesik went to the United States, where he also practiced music. After his return, he created the LesikSam project.
Later he was a member of the popular Ukrainian band Dzidzio, and after leaving the band he created the alternative project Dzidz'off.
Lesik is also a session musician, collaborating with several Ukrainian artists.
Health problemsOn December 5, 2024, Lesik' s heart stopped while he was playing on stage with Natalia Buchinskaya. He was taken to the intensive care unit in serious condition. On December 9, it became known that the musician regained consciousness, but his condition was still described as critical.
December 11, singer Natalia Karpa after a visit to the hospital to the musician said that he was determined to return to his usual life.
