Hamas delegation arrives in Russia

A delegation from the Hamas terrorist organization arrived in Moscow on October 26. Also on that day, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani arrived in the Russian capital and met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

This was reported by Russian propaganda Telegram channels. The visit of Hamas representatives was also confirmed by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

This is the first such visit since the beginning of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, and it has not been publicly announced. It was not specified whom the delegation would meet.

The delegation was headed by Abu Mazrook, a member of the Hamas political bureau who is a recognized and wanted terrorist. As noted in the "Israel Today" Telegram channel, Mazook has been searching for sponsors to finance Hamas through money laundering in the United States and Europe for years. He was also convicted in absentia in the United States. But despite this, he, like many other terrorist leaders, lived in Doha (Qatar).

It should be noted that the Russian Federation did not condemn the terrorist attack on Israel. In addition, Russia has traditionally maintained relations with Hamas and does not recognize this organization as a terrorist one. This visit is the first since the beginning of the new conflict in the Gaza Strip, which was caused by the militant movement's attack on Israel and hostage-taking. According to Israel, 23 Russian citizens were killed in the attack.

As a reminder, as of the morning of October 26, 21 Ukrainian citizens have become victims of the Palestinian-Israeli war. One more person is missing. Children are among the killed and wounded Ukrainian citizens in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces entered Gaza City on Thursday night, October 26, with tanks and infantry. They crossed the border in the northern part of the Strip, calling it a "targeted raid". During this nighttime raid, soldiers discovered and struck numerous militants, the terrorist group's infrastructure, and anti-tank missile launchers.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron commented on Israel's plans to conduct a ground operation in the Gaza Strip. According to him, this "would be a mistake" for Tel Aviv, which would not guarantee the country's security in the future and would only endanger civilian lives.
