The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine conducted a powerful operation on Tendra Spit: the enemy suffered significant losses. Video

On August 6, Ukrainian reconnaissance men destroyed the occupiers' equipment, personnel, and fortifications on the Tendra Spit in the northern part of the Black Sea. Having accomplished the task, the defenders withdrew without losses.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. The agency also showed a video of the special operation.

Tendra Spit is a long, narrow spit island about 65 km long and up to 1.8 km wide, located in the northern part of the Black Sea. The raid was carried out by special forces of the Artan Active Action Unit and the DIU Maritime Center.

At night, a group of servicemen landed on the spit and destroyed enemy armored vehicles, including MT-LB, an electronic warfare system, and destroyed the fortifications of Russian troops.

"During the battle, the Russian invaders suffered losses among their personnel – the exact number is being clarified. Having fulfilled the task, including the secret part of it, the military intelligence officers withdrew without losses," the DIU emphasized.

The agency added that this is not the first successful active operation of the military intelligence special forces on the Russian-occupied Tendra Spit. They also warned that these actions are only part of a large-scale plan of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, which is being implemented.
