Russians changed tactics near Avdiivka: fewer attacks, but more massive

Occupants reduced the number of attacks near Avdiivka

Russian occupants continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Avdiivka. However, the enemy has changed its tactics - the number of attacks has decreased, but they involve more infantry and equipment.

This was reported by Oleksandr Shtupun, spokesman for the press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, on the Frontline program. He noted that the enemy is using drones and aircraft to support foot attacks.

According to the speaker, the occupants carried out 15 air strikes near Avdiivka on December 17.

"The number of assaults has decreased, but the enemy used a large number of infantry and armored vehicles in one attack yesterday. That is, there were fewer of them, but they became more massive - more infantry and more armor, tanks and armored combat vehicles," said Shtupun.

At the same time, he said, the enemy also began to protect its armored vehicles. Previously, APCs and other equipment used to stay on the battlefield with the infantry and cover them after landing, but now they immediately retreat.

"This way, the enemy is probably protecting the equipment. And they treat infantry like meat," the speaker noted.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

Putin ordered the occupiers to capture Avdiivka by the New Year. The Russian dictator wants to mention the "epochal victory" in his New Year's address.

Earlier, the occupier showed how another Russian assault near Avdiivka ended. The video he shot shows burnt-out equipment, mines, shovels and helmets of the Russian invaders lying everywhere, as well as the bodies of the killed Russians that no one has taken away.
