Russia attacks Ukraine with six Shaheds and two Iskanders: all drones are downed

On the night of July 11, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces repelled another attack by Russian Shahed attack UAVs. In the skies over several regions, the defenders shot down all six such targets.

At the same time, the occupiers attacked Sumy region with ballistic missiles. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

According to him, the enemy attacked Sumy region with two Iskander-M missiles from the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. From the Russian city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, six Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones were sent to our regions.

All enemy UAVs were shot down in Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in combat operations.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of July 10, air defense forces shot down 14 Shaheds. In total, the Russian Federation launched 20 kamikaze drones and five missiles of various types at Ukraine – six of the attack weapons did not reach their targets, but there were hits.
