Everything under control: the occupants hunted for a maritime drone that sailed to Sevastopol for two hours

A marine drone was found in the Sevastopol area

There was "no panic" in temporarily occupied Sevastopol in southern Crimea over a maritime drone detected by Russian occupation troops. The illegal "authorities" admitted that there was a drone in the Sevastopol sea zone, but claimed there was no need to evacuate beaches. The occupiers announced that the drone had allegedly been eliminated at 14:28.

The so-called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozzhayev reported the detection of a surface UAV in the open sea at noon on Saturday, August 5. He wrote that the drone continued moving and all necessary measures were taken to destroy it," the Kremlin aide said.

He said Russian security services had decided to restrict the movement of skiffs (small dinghies) from the Balaklava district to the beaches and back.

"There is no need to evacuate people from the beaches, the situation is fully under the control of the fleet. Stay calm and do not panic,"  the occupant wrote.

He claimed that the traffic restriction will be allegedly removed after 13:00.

A resident of Crimea published a video online that shows the alarming situation in Sevastopol:

Razvozzhayev announced that the fleet of the aggressor country allegedly destroyed a drone "at a great distance from the shore in the Sevastopol maritime zone" at about 14:30. The occupiers lifted restrictions on the movement of water transport in the area of the Balaklava raid.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote:

- A maritime drone attacked the Russian Olenegorsk Miner landing ship in the bay of Novorossiysk in Russia's Krasnodar region on the morning of August 4.

- Russia lied that all the drones were destroyed. It turned out that the vessel had received a serious breach, capsized and could no longer fulfill its combat missions.

- According to media reports, the operation in Novorossiysk Bay was carried out by the SSU together with the Navy. The drone that crashed into the ship and caused the explosion was carrying 450 kilograms of TNT.

- The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk advised the occupants to leave our territorial waters and our land on August 5. The faster they do it, the better it will be for them, the head of the security service said.
